Observing
The teacher explains the materials about greeting, started
with "how are you?".
Currently the question "how are you?" "What
about you", "what about yourself?", "and yourself? "
Therefore introduced that the question "How are
you?" Can be answered with "I'm feeling great"
Communicating
Students are given the material about Greeting.
Learners repeat the pronunciation of “how are you?” Until the
pronunciation is correct.Learners to practice conversation with their friend.
Teacher can explain the use of sentences that can be used
when meeting with other people, "how are you?", "I'm fine,
thank you, and you?", I'm fine too.Thank you. "
These words are basic sentences that can be used when say greeting to someone.
The word "sir", which indicates that we spoke to
a man who is more mature in this case male teachers.
For male teachers, in addition to the word
"sir", we were able to use the word "mister" followed by
the name of the family, for example Mr.Ali Abu Bakr to Ali Abu Bakr.
As for the female teachers we can use the word "Mam" or "Ms.".
In the use of address for female teachers, we can give a
little explanation that for the call to women who are not married, we can call
her "Miss".
Whereas for married women we can call with the word
"Mrs", while for women who are still unknown marital status we can
call "Ms."
In some areas that are already familiar with
"Mr." or "Mrs.", these expressions are not wrong of
course. The use of the word "Mister" or "Miss" is used in
an attempt to bring up the English environment. But in general calls used to
greet the teacher is "Mister" or "Miss"
Students are given the material about Introduction. They
should know how to introduce their self.
Experimenting
Teachers introduce variety greetings expressions both in
formal and informal situations.
In this section, the teacher explains about how to make a
conversation about greeting and how to introduce themselves in English.
